Chapter 29.

Howdy hey!
Yup, there are only 6 days left! Can you believe that? About four months ago we arrived to this unknown land and made a home here. Hard to let it go now (nope nope nope frozen song get out of my mind right now).

Our plans for the rest of the days? Sadly, nothing special. We thought it through and decided just to chill and enjoy lovely Paisley. Well yeah and there is still the money issues..:D Week ago Marna got a message that her debit card was closed. Aye, life sucks sometimes. Somebody had her information or something and thank God bank noticed that. But just one question, who want to broke a poor student's card? :DDD like there would be any money..Anyway, now it's just means more problems for us.

So, a couple days ago we went for a walk because it was finally sunny (yes, it has been raining every day here for couple weeks now..) and took some pictures of...ourselves. And we did some things we wanted to do since we got here, for example we visited Paisley museum! It was pretty nice and simple.

Today we tried to fit our all clothes to the bag and the disappointment.. They fitted too easily!!!! That means we need more stuff....what?! Also we made our last walk to Morrisons and filled fridge with food (and some sweets ofc).

Our plans for following days is to visit Glasgow for the last time (last shopping time, oh gosh gonna miss that a little..) and just to enjoy. It is funny, because we knew this day will come, day when we have to leave. We have seen so much and all our friends kinda left us already. Can't say that we don't have anything to do but you know.. We have been ready and that's why leaving doesn't feel so bad. We are actually waiting for going home! It is sad to leave this place, it has so much good things. But we can't do anything. We have to just move on or something haha.

Chapter 20.

This time we decided to write whole text in English. You'll see how well it goes :D Yes we are scared and unsure but we think we should have done this a long time ago. Now the English-speaking friends don't have to guess what we are writing here. We'll see how hardworking we gonna be and would we continue this way with other chapters :D But at least this is a good start?

So in this chapter we gonna tell you about our Harry Potter Castle & Bamburgh Day Trip with Isuk Tours. On the way to castle we made a stop at place called Dunbar and made a little walk around town. Leaving Paisley it was raining and we were really sad and without any enthusiasm to go anywhere because of it. Our guide Ola were telling us that the weather's gonna be better after we pass Scottish and English border to side of England. We didn't believe her but....she was right! Rest of the trip it was sunny and pretty windy (not surprising anymore, we really don't complain about the wind after the Isle of Skye Trip... :D) but warm day. 

Close enough

It took about three hours to get us to Alnwick castle.. When we finally arrived we though about "Do we have enough time to see and try everything?!". Well yes, we made it. Almost. We missed only one or two activities because of their closing time at 4pm :''''( But everything else we saw were really interesting. Some of "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" and "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" scenes were filmed here and we had to spot those points. 

Castle were marvelous, especially inside. We weren't allowed to take any pictures inside because people really live in this castle at times and it is their home. But you can just imagine all its richness and victorian décor.. Oh man those mirrors, carpets and lamps, gold and silver, diamonds... I'm speechless about the library (those books, oh wow ♥). It was maybe most beautiful one we ever saw. We had a little chat with one of the castle's guides. He told us some interesting facts about library and about castle in general. Library has for example some first edition books, like Charles Dickens, signed books by authors etc. Oh and there are five secret rooms in the castle (however couldn't find them). Could we live here?! We were constantly looking for the owners (we heard family had two boys age 29 and 27, handsome ones) but we hadn't any luck with that. We were left with wedding march playing only in our heads (so sad). Downtown Abbey serial were filmed in this castle, so if you are interested to see more inside.. Take a look ;)

Walking around castle we had chance to have broomstick training (with plenty of kids but it didn't stopped us. We enjoyed looking dump jumping around broom between legs). We visited Tree house (the biggest in Europe), ate some fish&chips (again) and walked around a little museums.
It was so weird to understand what people are telling you! Castle located in England and everyone there were talking in normal, English accent. But after a while we started missing Scottish one! Damn you Scotland.

Around 5:30pm we had to head back to the bus and continue our journey to next castle, Bamburgh. It was late and castle was closed at time we arrived. So we went to the beach (let's go to the beach-each ! ok ok shut up now song). Gosh it was beautiful! And if we had had swimsuits, we could go swimming. Water was cold but c'mon we are Finnish!

Finally we got a chance to take pictures with Scottish flag. And when we got such a possibility, we took everything from it. Lot's of pictures (pics with us and flag we gonna post later). Rest of the time we just walked around enjoying the scenery and collecting clams and trying to stand straight against wind covering our cameras from sand witch were flying around. 

Back in bus we had a small chat with bus-drivers while waiting other passengers. We were talking about Finland, trying to invite drivers to visit it some day. But we think we didn't make any impressions about it telling that "there are nothing to do! Go to Lapland and freeze over, people there don't talk to strangers....." etc. OK OK we tried our best but comparing Finland and Scotland is just..nonsense :D In Scotland, there are more that 1000 castles and in we have like...four of them (one in Turku, welcome ;)) #nohistory? But I guess Finland has it's own privileges anyway.

Chapter 18.

Unicorns called Yksi ja Sarvi

Olipa kerran kaksi eksynyttä yksisarvista jotka riippuivat kaupan hyllykoukussa. Peloissaan ja yksin. Huomaamattomina. Eräänä kauniina päivänä kolme suomalaista turistia (tyttö, nainen ja mies) tulivat kauppaan ja huomasivat nämä suloiset otukset. Tyttö päätti tarjota yksisarvisille kodin. Tyttö otti yksisarviset pois koukusta ja kiikutti ne kaupan kassalle vanhempiensa maksettavaksi (kiitti äiti ja isi). Yksisarviset olivat pelastettuja orjuudestaan! Tyttö tarjosi toisen tytön kanssa taikaotuksille mahdollisuuden nähdä hyvää ja vapaata tulevaisuutta (eli katella ikkunasta rumaa opiskelija-asuntolaa ja roskakatosta [no mut tämäkin parempi kuin ei mitään?]).

Okei okei, nyt sit vakavammin.

Viime viikolla täällä oli käymässä Hennan miekkonen ja tälle piti näytellä paikkoja ja tutustuttaa meidän kamuihin täällä. Vähä shoppailua ja ravintolaruokaa... Pubi nimeltä Borgia tuli sen viikon aikana kokeiltua kahteen kertaan, ja suosittelen ! Hyvä ruoka, hyvä palvelu, halvat hinnat. Käytiin myös vihdoin ja viimein Paisley Abbeyssä, sisällä! Voisko Suomessaki olla näitä kirkkoja enemmän? Ehkä ihmiset kävis niissä enemmän jos ois näin hienoja :D En tiiä.

Peukkutytöt

Viikonloppuna käytiin taas tutustumassa Skotlannin kauniiseen luontoon, tällä ketaa suunnattiin etelään. Matkustettiin täyden bussin kanssa sellaiseen paikkaan kuin Portpatrick. Pelättiin, että sää tulee olemaan samanlainen kuin edellisellä reissulla, mutta onni hymyili meille ja aurinko paistoi :) Thank God. Kuvia tuli räpsittyä taas sellaiset keskimäärin 350 per "Nyt kun näät nää paikat, et usko tätä todeks. Mut sit kun istahdat kotisohvalle ja alat käymään kameran kuvia läpi, tajuat, että tää kaikki olikin totta.")
molempien kamera.. Hups. Niistä ainakin 40 räpsyä on julkaisemisen arvoisia. Ja puolia ei jaksa edes katella kun miljoona kuvaa samasta kohtaa. Kuitenkin henkeäsalpaavat maisemat tuli taas tallennettua kameran muistikortille, kyllä näitä vaan tulee ikävä.

Matkalla ei oikein tainnut tapahtua mitään hauskaa ja erikoista (koska kaikilla oli krapula edellisestä illasta, lisätietoa löytyy alempaa).. Oli sellainen rento reissu, ei tarvinnu yhtään kiirehtiä. Hah. Okei ketä huijataan.. Ainahan meidän kanssa tapahtuu jotain. Me eksyttiin yhden pysähdyksen (Ayr) aikana tuntemattomaan kaupunkiin ja bussi joutu odottelemaan meitä noloja. Suuntavaisto ei vaan toiminu meillä kolmella suomalaisella. Mutta jooh, muuten matka oli rauhallinen ja "rentouttava". Matkaseuran varmaan osaattekin jo arvata..

Maanantaina käytiin sanomassa heipat miekkoselle (Miss u already-H, Kiitti ku palautit Hoon-M) ja tiistaina mentiin Hennan vanhempia vastaan lentokentälle. Oltiin varmaan jo tuttu näky siellä. Oli hieman outoa kun taas näki tuttuja ja SUOMALAISIA. Lisää shoppailua (Glasgow) ja ravintoloita. Ja kaljaa. Ja yksisarvisia. Kiitos visiitistänne, äiti ja isi (ja etukäteissynttärilahjasta) ! Tuli käytyä myös yhdessä uudessa Paisleyn ravintolassa syömässä. Ravintolan nimi oli The Last Post, ja oli kyllä maittavaa ruokaa ! Ehdottomasti suosittelemisen arvoinen.

Ainiin, viime perjantaina meillä oli myös bileet! Etkoiltiin meidän keittiössä ja kavereita vaan tuli seuraan. Ja vaikka alakerrassa oli myös bileet, ihmiset jäi meidän seuraan ;) Ollaan parhaita, kyl me tiietään. Pian koko keittiö oli ihan täynnä ihmisiä, puhetta ja alkoholia. Hauskaa miten juomapelit ei kauheasti eroa missään maassa, vaan samoilla säännöillä mennään.

Jatkot oli koulun baarissa Unionissa. Jotkut selvis sinne, jotkut luovutti ja sammahteli lähdön aikana :D (terkkuja) Teemana siellä oli UV ja paikka oli täynnä UV-maalia. Liukastumisvaara oli suuri ja pari kertaa sitä sitten tuli melkein maatua lattialla. Kiitos ihmisille halauksista, vaikka kaikkihan tietää, että tavoitteena oli vain saada maalia päälle ja sotkea toinen. Hyvät bileet (lue: tylsät bileet), pelattiin bilistä poikien kanssa ja piipahdettiin vaan pari kertaa tanssilattialla. Mutta ei palattu enää, kun tajuttiin että liikaa ihmisiä haluaa sotkea sun vaatteet ja naaman. Sillä maskilla sitten palattiin kotiin (y).

Tänään oli se kuulu auringonpimennys! Kymmenenkö vuotta sitä ollaan taas odoteltu? Oli tunti menossa, mutta päästiin lähtemään kattomaan tätä ilmiötä kesken. Aluksi tuntui tyhmältä ja turhalta seistä ulkona kattomassa taivasta. Oli tosi pilvistä ja ei tiennyt mistä aurinko edes paistoi..Yhä enemmän ihmisiä kerääntyi ulos ja kaikki tähyilivät ylös näkemisen toivossa. Moni luovutti ja lähti takaisin sisälle. Ja sieltä se sitten ilmestyikin pilvien seasta!! Oli kyllä upea näky ja Marna sai tallennettua tämän kännykkään.

Huomenna suuntana ois viikonloppureissu Edinburghiin, vihdoin ja viimein päästään näkemään tämäkin upea kaupunki ihan livenä. Toivon mukaan selvitään reissusta ehjin nahoin (nyt kun ei sitä autoa sitten vuokrattukaan). :D

We decided to try writing in English as well, sorry if we write wrong ! (Not good at this yet). Last week we went to a daytrip to Portpatrick, the views were breathtaking and the company was great. Over 350 pictures in both cameras and only 40 are good... We had also great party last Friday, some of us even survived to the Unions UV-party.

Last week Hennas boyfriend was visiting here in Paisley and we introduced him to Paisley and Glasgow. This week Hennas parents were here for couple of days, more shopping in Glasgow... We went out eating, and get to know two new food places in Paisley: Borgia and The Last Post. Good food, low prices and great customer service.

This weekend we are going to a weekend trip to Edinburgh. Hope we survive !
