Chapter 28.

Marina's skills level 100000000000000+
Thoughts.

So there is ONLY 14 days left for us here in Scotland. After that our plane will take us back to Finland. Back to home. Is it okay that Scotland kind of become a home for us, too? And we had a new family here. People started leaving Storie Street.. So sad :(

Soon it would be four months since we moved here as exchange students. Time flies too fast! Well, at least for us.. Sometimes you think that you haven't done anything but in the other hand you have seen so much and done things. You just have to bring them into your mind again. Like reading our old posts over and over again :D Love it.

We had experienced so much. We've seen lots of new places and fell in love with Scottish nature, learned how to live here. We learned how to use pounds (yes, we do know differences of all coins now and it don't take us eternity to find right ones), we understand Scottish accent (well sometimes we still have a problems with that but still..), we know how and where to find things and information.
Our first friend

We met awesome people here. First days we got our rooms, Henna decided to sleep at Marna's room and so happened that she just stayed and we lived together since that (Henna used her room only for a week when her bf came for a visit) :D We met Marina's flatmates together and Hemppe become part of the family!

At the beginning, we were really scared about meeting flatmates and that we have to share a kitchen with them. Henna has never lived with somebody else random (and Marina never saw her flatmates in her previous apartment..). And well, we hated that idea of sharing and compulsory communication with the others. We are Finnish - unsocial, shy people and we would have to meet people at the mornings? No way in Hell! Let's stay in closed room.

Thankfully we didn't do that. We decided to be brave. Yolo is our motto, now through life apparently! Nowadays, we are not sure how we gonna leave this place or what we gonna to do when everyone are left. Just two of us in whole flat. Kitchen is like our living room and we spend lot's of time there cooking/baking or just hanging with roommates.

Everyone of our flatmates are special and kind and funny and good friends for us. As we mentioned before, we are a big family:

-Bulgarian guy Teodor, fork/broccoli-man is like a big brother we never had and always eating too healthy! Always teasing and joking about us but still, our friend who just have to stand us.

- Jenni, our big sister! You understand us as a Finn. You left us first and we miss you a lot! :( Thank god you are as crazy as we are and we definitely gonna meet in Finland again!

-Our French guy, Aurélien. Note for Finns: if you try to pronouns his name right, trust us. You will never get it right. That's why we call him: John, A, creepy-man, cereal friend, carrot boy.. he has too many different names. Man with his cereals and crazy mind. Do you have hangover today mate? Hangoverhangoverhangoverhangover...

-French chicka Delphine! We still have to come up with some nicknames for you. Wait for it :D Is "the best sushi cooker" fine? You are the coolest french girl we know! And sorry for baking so much. Don't hate us and #fuckthefitnessfeelthefatness.

 - Oh and Spanish one. Thank you for those moments we saw you :D

We learned so much about other cultures (mostly about Bulgaria haha) and to understand others' accents. Every one of us learned a lot and improved.

We met people at school, when traveling and through friends'. We met Aman boy on our first trip to Harry Potter bridge and since then he has been a big help and friend for us! Thanks for standing us. But you know, we are the best company you can get so enjoy haha! Peace.
There are many people we met, it would take a lot of time to write about everyone. We hope pictures will cover that!
It was nice opportunity to meet people on ISUKTours. Thanks for the guides for great trips. And the great places we had a chance to visit ! Without you we wouldn't probably visit that much places in UK. Big thank you for all of you, Hoji, Ola, Amit and others !

One night drunk friend.
This is Ludovic. He is nice (hehe).

Omg teamwork here??

Guess who

Yes, we know some Scottish people too :D It was a pleasure to know them and to do school groupworks with (MarkOps - never forget). There are moments we were not sure what you just said but we can just listen your accent for days, so we don't mind. Hope nodding is enough for an answer.

Thank you also the greatest teacher of all-time, James Watt. What would we do without your lectures twice a week ? And how we're gonna survive without your teasing in lectures about us and our weird culture ?! And muffins.. What we gonna eat now?! Yeah, enjoy your Finlandia-vodka with Irn-Bru and some Finnish chocolate. And thanks for the free coffee !

And us.. sorry for being so annoying with our puerility (Pink fluffy unicorns dancing on rainbow...). We are just crazy like-twins with weird ideas. How we gonna just leave you not seeing you again every morning and day? How about our common jokes and deep/meaningless conversations? Damn. Thanks for making us suffer.

For Henna's flatmates two floor below, oh dear Germans. Sorry for Henna being a ghost for you. Or, at least you heard her once in a while (sorry about that, disturbing your "silence" :D).

For Finnish friends and relatives.. This doesn't mean that we don't miss you! We can't wait to see you too. It has been too long since we talked properly and we just want to see you irl. And we will meet soon! Just a couple of weeks more, you will get us back.

Anyway. We still have time here in Scotland! We still have things to see but they are pretty impossible because of lack of money. But one day, we'll definitely come back to Scotland! But the rest of the days here for now.. Let's not spend our time at home. We have to go out, it's summer coming (please rain, go away)! Meaningless walks without aim are the best ones.

So overall, thanks to everyone we had chance to meet here in Scotland! (and flatmates, thanks for the food) You can't even imagine how much we gonna miss you all and we definitely gonna remember you till our last days (well until dementia will hit us). Thank you for showing places and experiencing everything with us. You are biggest part of our adventure.

And now all guys are like "dah, girls.."

Chapter 23.

We are so tired.. so tired and dead. Our last week was pretty stressful and we are glad we made it. Remember kids, never leave your schoolwork for a last week/day (like we gonna follow this rule from now.. we never learn but hope for the best as always ofc). We barely got any sleep at nights because of too much thinking and writing. But nailed it! Done and out of our minds :D

Last week we were seriously thinking about skipping one of the IsukTours-tour to Newcastle. We were still pretty tired after London and everything (yeah London got us dead. Thank you !). But after some time we finally decided to go. We gonna take a rest back in Finland! Time in Scotland is for adventures. Money is the only obstacle... #momsendmemoremoney

Yesterday we went to Newcastle & Jedburgh day trip. Back to England side. The night before was pretty.. sleepless. Thanks for French guys who decided to keep an after party in our kitchen :D Thanks for the screaming. Yeah, we didn't want to sleep anyway and we didn't have to wake up at 6am. And ofc we got sleep after you finally finished. Okok let's stop this sarcasm. But hey, we understand, this is a student life ! Drunk people they just.. well we've done that so don't worry, your apologizes are accepted and thanks for the fries (even though no Ben&Jerrys, we forgive u)! :* xx

Our trip was cool, these towns were really pretty. Jedburgh was so dead :D Small and no people around. Really cute one and actually Marny liked it more than Newcastle.. And Henna ofc prefered Newcastle because she's as crazy as the people there. :D Our awesome guides took us everywhere worth to see (for the fast look at least). Sadly we couldn't stay for nightlife (people started drinking in Newcastle at 2pm... Typical Finnish style). It seemed to be good one. But maybe next time!

As we were really tired, we didn't rush anywhere. Like for real, we were really tired! We never actually sleep at the bus but this time we just passed out on our way to destinations and back home.

Today we just laid on bed watching Dexter (aye, we are done with Gossip Girl (long time ago). Now it's time for some rough stuff). Feeling dead and toward the evening we are finally waking up. Can't wait for going back to sleep! Best thing ever. ♥ Couple days from here we gonna just lie and do nothing. Or should we go for a walk around Paisley again..? We'll see.

Next week it's going to be Henna's birthday (waiting for presents) and she kinda promised to be wasted on Friday (hahah hold your horses, guys). So wait for some random pictures and stories (if we going to remember anything..).

But now, enjoy our pictures (not so much this time):

Oopsy Marna got too exited with photoshop..

A couple new unicorns!
