Chapter 28.

Marina's skills level 100000000000000+
Thoughts.

So there is ONLY 14 days left for us here in Scotland. After that our plane will take us back to Finland. Back to home. Is it okay that Scotland kind of become a home for us, too? And we had a new family here. People started leaving Storie Street.. So sad :(

Soon it would be four months since we moved here as exchange students. Time flies too fast! Well, at least for us.. Sometimes you think that you haven't done anything but in the other hand you have seen so much and done things. You just have to bring them into your mind again. Like reading our old posts over and over again :D Love it.

We had experienced so much. We've seen lots of new places and fell in love with Scottish nature, learned how to live here. We learned how to use pounds (yes, we do know differences of all coins now and it don't take us eternity to find right ones), we understand Scottish accent (well sometimes we still have a problems with that but still..), we know how and where to find things and information.
Our first friend

We met awesome people here. First days we got our rooms, Henna decided to sleep at Marna's room and so happened that she just stayed and we lived together since that (Henna used her room only for a week when her bf came for a visit) :D We met Marina's flatmates together and Hemppe become part of the family!

At the beginning, we were really scared about meeting flatmates and that we have to share a kitchen with them. Henna has never lived with somebody else random (and Marina never saw her flatmates in her previous apartment..). And well, we hated that idea of sharing and compulsory communication with the others. We are Finnish - unsocial, shy people and we would have to meet people at the mornings? No way in Hell! Let's stay in closed room.

Thankfully we didn't do that. We decided to be brave. Yolo is our motto, now through life apparently! Nowadays, we are not sure how we gonna leave this place or what we gonna to do when everyone are left. Just two of us in whole flat. Kitchen is like our living room and we spend lot's of time there cooking/baking or just hanging with roommates.

Everyone of our flatmates are special and kind and funny and good friends for us. As we mentioned before, we are a big family:

-Bulgarian guy Teodor, fork/broccoli-man is like a big brother we never had and always eating too healthy! Always teasing and joking about us but still, our friend who just have to stand us.

- Jenni, our big sister! You understand us as a Finn. You left us first and we miss you a lot! :( Thank god you are as crazy as we are and we definitely gonna meet in Finland again!

-Our French guy, Aurélien. Note for Finns: if you try to pronouns his name right, trust us. You will never get it right. That's why we call him: John, A, creepy-man, cereal friend, carrot boy.. he has too many different names. Man with his cereals and crazy mind. Do you have hangover today mate? Hangoverhangoverhangoverhangover...

-French chicka Delphine! We still have to come up with some nicknames for you. Wait for it :D Is "the best sushi cooker" fine? You are the coolest french girl we know! And sorry for baking so much. Don't hate us and #fuckthefitnessfeelthefatness.

 - Oh and Spanish one. Thank you for those moments we saw you :D

We learned so much about other cultures (mostly about Bulgaria haha) and to understand others' accents. Every one of us learned a lot and improved.

We met people at school, when traveling and through friends'. We met Aman boy on our first trip to Harry Potter bridge and since then he has been a big help and friend for us! Thanks for standing us. But you know, we are the best company you can get so enjoy haha! Peace.
There are many people we met, it would take a lot of time to write about everyone. We hope pictures will cover that!
It was nice opportunity to meet people on ISUKTours. Thanks for the guides for great trips. And the great places we had a chance to visit ! Without you we wouldn't probably visit that much places in UK. Big thank you for all of you, Hoji, Ola, Amit and others !

One night drunk friend.
This is Ludovic. He is nice (hehe).

Omg teamwork here??

Guess who

Yes, we know some Scottish people too :D It was a pleasure to know them and to do school groupworks with (MarkOps - never forget). There are moments we were not sure what you just said but we can just listen your accent for days, so we don't mind. Hope nodding is enough for an answer.

Thank you also the greatest teacher of all-time, James Watt. What would we do without your lectures twice a week ? And how we're gonna survive without your teasing in lectures about us and our weird culture ?! And muffins.. What we gonna eat now?! Yeah, enjoy your Finlandia-vodka with Irn-Bru and some Finnish chocolate. And thanks for the free coffee !

And us.. sorry for being so annoying with our puerility (Pink fluffy unicorns dancing on rainbow...). We are just crazy like-twins with weird ideas. How we gonna just leave you not seeing you again every morning and day? How about our common jokes and deep/meaningless conversations? Damn. Thanks for making us suffer.

For Henna's flatmates two floor below, oh dear Germans. Sorry for Henna being a ghost for you. Or, at least you heard her once in a while (sorry about that, disturbing your "silence" :D).

For Finnish friends and relatives.. This doesn't mean that we don't miss you! We can't wait to see you too. It has been too long since we talked properly and we just want to see you irl. And we will meet soon! Just a couple of weeks more, you will get us back.

Anyway. We still have time here in Scotland! We still have things to see but they are pretty impossible because of lack of money. But one day, we'll definitely come back to Scotland! But the rest of the days here for now.. Let's not spend our time at home. We have to go out, it's summer coming (please rain, go away)! Meaningless walks without aim are the best ones.

So overall, thanks to everyone we had chance to meet here in Scotland! (and flatmates, thanks for the food) You can't even imagine how much we gonna miss you all and we definitely gonna remember you till our last days (well until dementia will hit us). Thank you for showing places and experiencing everything with us. You are biggest part of our adventure.

And now all guys are like "dah, girls.."

                                                                                                               With love

Chapter 27.

Aye aye captain! Two insane girls here.

Last night we came back from our Manchester and Liverpool trip. Today was really hard for us, cause we felt sick and powerless.. Traveling is exhausting! What else to write... Well, it was rainy most of the time, so we kinda found ourselves in every shop center crying over dresses, shirts, jeans.. Oopsie. Why everything has to cost money?! Please Kela, help us.

17.5. we went to Manchester United vs. Arsenal football game in Manchester!! Supa coolio game. It was really exiting and weird to be watching the real game, live in Old Trafford stadium. Yes, tickets cost too much but hey, you don't see things like that everyday. It was like #yolo.
Still feeling goosebumps while thinking what we saw (doesn't feel real, dream came true). Also, one of the reasons to go to this game was to make our brothers jealous (they are saying that they don't care but we know they would like to experience the same).
Nice view, eh ?
Stadium was full of people, crazy ones. Next to Marna was sitting one real-manchester united fan-guy. Marna was scared all the time that he would accidentally punch her. Also we got opportunity to hear his awesome singing skills. But we are not complaining! Game was cool (ended 1-1), people around were funny, pretty good weather.. Also, who won't enjoy watching hot guys running around? A successful experience overall I may say ;) Night we spent at Hatters hostel. We had
six bed dorm, but we were only ones in this room! Lucky us.

Next day we spent in Liverpool. It was raining again so we just were hanging around. We decided to visit Liverpool FC store, but by the time we got there, it was closed. And we were there at 5:10pm, closing time was at 5:00pm. Seriously..? Next day we had next try and it was a bit more successful. Sorry bro, didn't buy you stuff you exactly wanted but hope you will appreciate my try :D
The nigh we spent at Hatters Liverpool hostel. We shared our room with two boys and girl. One of the boys we didn't spoke because he was all the time somewhere (just took a shower at night and slept and left the room before we woke up). Another one was Tomas from Argentina and the girl was Californian girl Marika living in London and traveling around world. We had nice chat for about two hours before sleep. It is fun and nice how you just meet people and start talking and getting know each other. It was interesting to hear what people have seen in their life. And of course we were really happy to hear that our English is very good :D Guys, you just got 10000+points for being so polite.

Both cities, Manchester and Liverpool were beautiful and we felt like they would be actually a good place to live, very homelike! Many things to see and cool accents :D We really think that we come back pretty soon !

Best feeling was when our bus arrived after five hours from Manchester to Glasgow. This city is starting feel like home! Back in Paisley, shower felt like heaven and pizza tasted like some gourmet food. And Coca-Cola.. gosh it is good (also my fanta-like drink were pretty great). But yeah, it was good trip, but home is home. Gonna miss this place so much.. :''(

Speaking of which. We have 18 days left here in Scotland!! And time flies like crazy. We are sad about leaving this lovely place but at the same time, can't wait to go to Finland and meet all of our friends and families. We heard that it's finally warm there and snow is finally melted. Today with shaking hands and sickness we packed some boxes with our stuff
Minion suits ready for the journey
to send back home. How it is possible to have so much things?! Hopefully the rest of our clothes will fit to luggage :D

Hello Henna's Dad, these are coming to you !

On Friday we have our exam, let's all pray that it will go well! We can't wait it to be over and finally just not to think about any school stuff.. (like we ever thought about it here..)

Life is good and here are some pictures in odd order (can't remember which were taken in which town, they just like mixed up a little in our heads). bye.
