Chapter 31.

Hiya pals!

And so our adventure in land of unicorns came to end. We are alive and at home safely.
On Sunday we had a huge cleaning process. Did we really lived whole this time in this kind of dirt and mess? Ok ok this sounds terrible, but some place were really dirty like for example oven and shelves. Anyway, we left place shiny and clean as we never seen it like that before. It was so sad and weird to leave our flat knowing that we won't come back here anymore. Well, of course we'll visit Glasgow and Paisley someday but it will be different experience.

After leaving our keys at the reception, we had to wait for taxi for about an hour. The receptionist said that they called us a taxi but it never came :D After panicking that we will be late for flight, we decided to call ourselves. We learned that never let somebody else to take care of anything, you will have to do it yourself anyway !

Our luggage were heavy as hell. Sorry taxi-driver :D We hope yer back is okay. Because our hurts a bit. Anyone ready to give us a massage? Please? What a relief it was to leave our baggage at airport and continue our way.

When our plane rose both started crying a bit. Truth is as we have been saying before, that Scotland became a home. It was like a piece of heart (so cliche but so true..) were left there. And then we felt so empty inside. We didn't even cry when we left Finland, but Scotland.. Does it say enough ? We really enjoyed there.

We had intermediate stop in Amsterdam where we had to spend about four-five hours.. Two ours we were at the restaurant drinking beer and eating burger while falling asleep. Next hours we just walked around (can you believe that we didn't buy anything at Victoria's Secret?! Yeah we either..) and sitting. We haven't used to wake up so early and well, flight is always a stressful thing and takes a lot of energy. Waiting was frustrating but went pretty fast.

On our flight from Amsterdam to Helsinki we had some Finnish people traveling same way. And we had a huge shock. Is culture shock possible at home? In Helsinki everything was on Finnish. So weird and too easy. :D We really had to strain not to speak anything of people there in Finnish because we were used to do that in Scotland. :D

What a joy it was to meet our dear friend Emi who came to meet us and Henna's boyfriend. Familiar faces! Road to home was fun. Like seriously, Marna laughed without stopping the whole time. If she stopped, somebody said something funny (or not) and laugh scene started again (sorry guys :D I was tired and happy!). And everybody else just tried to internalize the situation that we actually were in Finland again. And Emi and Mikael were real and it really wasn't a dream. :D

Next days we had pretty hectic running around after stuff like new operators and keys for apartment and millions of friends who wanted to see us. So yeah, soon we will be ready for everyday routine. It was crazy that in shop we really didn't have to translate those amounts into euros because they were in euros already. Shocking. :D While driving around Marina couldn't stop admiring Finnish nature. Oh how we missed these forests. It was a really warm and lovely day (NO WIND <3<3<3<333<33) and we just enjoyed home. Today we might go for a ride, for just driving around familiar places. And talk about our longing to Scotland. Is it really over? Or was it just a dream?

Cheers mates !

Chapter 25.

On Friday we had our second night out! Gosh, this sounds so bad :D We are not that boring!! Sometimes we have too much things to do, or trip next day, or lack of money...(excuses excuses).

Anyway. We were celebrating Hemppe's birthday in Glasgow with our friends. Yes, we decided to be fun for once, yayy. After a nap, we had pre-party in our flat with some "childish sweets and chips" (as Teo said [but hey, it's Finnish style!]), poor cake, and drinking game. No, it wasn't fun to clean all the mess next day. For people here it is strange to start drinking at 5pm? In Finland it is normal! We were kind and started our party after 7pm and left to Glasgow after 10pm. We though to leave that early, because it was free entry for the club we wanted to go (Kushion). But we were late for that so we had to find another one. We went to club Bamboo and at that early time it was totally empty. We were disappointed and tried to find better place without any progress. All places were pretty expensive (waiting desperately for Kela money!!!!!!!! See ya soon!), about £10 for entry. We couldn't afford even that :D

Random balloons found by happy girl in the middle of the road in Glasgow.

We were walking around maybe for an hour and in the end we decided to go back to Bamboo. And it was FULL of people!! Totally different place. At the beginning of the evening we thought staying just for a couple hours max, but we ended up staying till it was closing time! We danced, drank and had a great time. We might to do another trip to Glasgow some day ;) Whiskey cola is good.

So, overall, good night, full of good moments to remember. Like random guy kissing hands, random guys trying to pick up us while our boys left us for a while, deep conversation at McDonald's about male sex organs, about our meanings to each other (Teo was drunk.....) etc. You know, a normal night. Thanks for everybody who spent that night with us!

Now we are waiting for the first of May, for Vappu! In Scotland you are not allowed to drink alcohol outside, so we have to figure our how to spend this day other-way, with Finnish style.. Any suggestions? (Should we do bag-beer or how is it said in English ?)

Oh did we tell you that we were burnt at the sun?! The next day after Henna's birthday we went for a walk to see waterfall here in Paisley. It took us about two hours.. we kinda got lost. :D But when we found it, we stayed on that hill and just laid on the lawn. It was such a good weather, exactly like at the summer! And place were perfect! Pretty quiet and we saw town from above. And dogs. When we got back home, well....Here some pictures. Next day wasn't so great for us, I think we got sunstroke..Oopsy :D

next day..Haven't felt this bad for a long time

Chapter 22.

Ajatuksia ja avautumisia
                               Nyt tulee diippii shittii

Heipähei suomalaisen kamraadit! Ajateltiin vähän muistella tätä upeata suomen kieltä ja kirjoittaa huiman kahden enkun kielisen tekstin jälkeen suomeksi. Ollaan tosiaan huomattu et sanat rupeaa olemaan hakusessa kun on kyse äidinkielestämme :D Ei pahasti, mutta usein tulee heitettyä englanninkielisiä sanoja sinne tänne ja sit muisti lyö tyhjää muistellessaan jotakin sanaa. (Ajatelkaa vaan kuinka Marnan venäjän kieli on kärsinyt….voevoe Mitään en myönnä mitään en tunnusta.)

Liittyen noihin reisuihin.

Noin seitsemän viikkoa. 52 päivää. Sit suunnataan jo takaisin Suomeen. Jos tämän reissun alussa pelotti tulla Skotlantiin, ei koskaan olisi uskonut et yhtäkkiä tulee pelko palata Suomeen. Tämä on hyvin outo ja ahdistava tunne. Miksi paluu pelottaa?

Iiks, bye-bye juoruilut. Skotlanti on jo jollain tapaa koti. Just kun on asettunut johonkin, joutuu taas aloittamaan alusta tän sopeutumisprosessin.

Ikävä takaisin on tietty. Mut on Hempelläki !). Voi herranpieksut, mehän ollaan ruvettu tykkäämään salmiakista! Nämä maut tuovat meille fiiliksen kodista meren tuolla puolen.

Ikävä on ihmisiäkin.

Pari niistä on itekkin tällä hetkellä vaihdossa vieläpä. Se on jotenkin surullista ja pelottavaa. Me ollaan koitettu kertoa meidän tekemisistä ja kysellä mitä Suomen puolella tapahtuu.

Tietenkin tänä aikana on kaikille tullut omia inside-juttuja. Niistäkin olis kiva kuulla edes osa. Laittakaa itsenne meidän tilalle: Mitä haluisitte tietää parhaiden kavereiden menoista? Etenkin niiden, jotka ovat kaukana susta? Jep. KAIKEN.

Chapter 21.

Hello fellas! Long time no seen? Sorry for that. We just went trough our London-trip pictures (over 1000pics per camera...) and had some recovering time. Yes. We needed over the week for that.

So about our long long-awaited journey to London! We had 5 awesome days there with a good company (containing us, Jenni, Teodor, Aman and at times some other people). We are not going to tell everything with details, just some best memories. We walked and saw too much so it would be take ages to write everything down.

Let's start with our journey from Paisley to London. First we had to take train from Paisley to Glasgow and then we jumped into the bus which took us to our destination. Imagine about 10 hours of sitting on your ass without the possibility of moving anywhere off your seat. No proper place for your feet. All night of traveling like that. Sleeping was almost impossible thing to do..it was really uncomfortable and what a relieve it was to finally step up from the bus and breath "fresh" London air.

London is a huge city! After realizing that we are in London, we had to wait an hour more when bus finally reached the center. We bought Oyster cards and most of the time we traveled by tube or bus (because of some underground line closing). It took about 30min (or more) from our hostel to center and by tube just 10min. Thank god they fixed the line so we could use tube on our last days.
Most of the time we just walked. Walked around big and small streets finding interesting things and places. I think we crossed every bridge in London center? From now on, we worship the creator of plasters and cold gel.

We were blessed having an awesome weather! It was sunny and warm. Perfect ingredients to feel happy and to enjoy everything. Usually we woke up at 8am, took a shower and headed for a breakfast. After we took a nap. About 11am we left our hostel to find some new adventures.

I think we saw every attraction which are associated with London (Minus Madame Tussauds.. Have to go back someday). Also we had some our own fun while finding some Banksy arts. If you are going to London, try to just walk around, turn on some small streets and you'll see other side of that city. You can find cool places or if you need a quiet place after rushing center, it's right thing to do. Don't be afraid to get lost! Nowadays everyone has navigation on their phone :D It is really useful, we can tell.

If something shocked us, that was the number of people. Oh lord.. We thought Glasgow had lots of them but no! That was a totally new level for us, for two small girls from freaking land of "people need at least one meter their own space". Funny thing is, do they have any real Brits in London? Or just tourists. Anyway. Beautiful place, even tho we thought everything would be much bigger and more great. (We kinda liked Edinburgh more..#scotland4ever).

We saw lot's of random things, like while walking on the street one guy was pointing on people saying "God loves you!". Apparently God loves us too yay. Also, I don't know how many time we saw birds fucking. Like c'mon, get a room! Alright, it is natural thing to do and well, birds like attention. but still Sorry for pictures.

London knows how to surprise. We went to see new Fast and Furious 7-movie and after trying to figure out how to get back to hostel at late time, we got into real action! There was some kind of race or just rich people showing their cars. (RACERACERACE !! Henna was like a child in the candy shop :D) We were pretty exited and atmosphere were great. All those people with phones and so much cool cars and so much noise.. Brilliant experience after really good movie! We couldn't ask for more, we were so lucky! God really loves us. (maybe the best part of the trip haha) (Yes it was !).

We had an opportunity to take a look at Londons nightlife. Just a small one. Pubs were closing really early.. Blaah.. But hey, no hangover next day. A day of shopping! Not even gonna say how much money we spent. Let's just say that a lot. Or let's just skip this part. Thank you Victoria's Secret !

Last day wasn't quite our day. At the morning Marina hit her head to locker door. Really hard (still hurts after these days (and I think I have a small hole there too..)), then while searching for the phone in a bag she walked straight to the lamp post... yes... like they do in a movies. After that Aman managed somehow to throw his glasses into her :D at her face. Wtf was wrong with this day! People just had accidents one after another.. At the restaurant waitress poured the glasses of cider on the table, things broke... etc. etc.

Overall, nice trip, nice city, nice people. Nice. And imagine the bus trip back home.. yep, same feeling as we described earlier. We really missed Scottish accent (Henna: Nah, not so much actually :D still mixed feelings about this country). In London, it was weird to understand what people were saying. Seriously.

Last week we also had to say bye to our dear flatmate Jenni :( She left Scotland, us. Fuck u school. We started missing you right after you left and it so strange that you are not here. But thanks for the food! We are not saying goodbye because we definitely will see you back in Finland! Don't worry :* xx
This put us to think that soon, everyone will go on their own way and we won't be flatmates anymore. Not seeing you guys everyday? How is that possible..We still have time bully each other ;) we will take all the joy out of this so be ready.

Next trip ahead on Saturday, tomorrow, when we're going to Newcastle.

More what we did you'll see in pictures(sorry there's like million of those, but enjoy):
